Covent Garden

One of the most entertaining places to visit in London would be Covent Garden. You can just walk around and watch the street performances which would definitely be extremely entertaining or go for a musical. Most of the theatres are situated around here anyways. I remember watching this guy perform and I thought "He is so NOT shy!". He knows how to pull in the crowd and really entertain. He doesn't have to do much but just the bantering and the joking makes it worthwhile. I like the way he gets the audience to participate as well. There is also a cheap bookstore here. I think it is called the Banana Bookshop. You can get pretty good deals on books here as well as some children books and toys.

Oh yes, don't forget that Belgo is also in Covent Garden. A good place for a pot of mussels and Kwak beer (if you can't make it to Belgium). We actually found a restaurant in Egham called the Loch Fyne which serves pretty good mussels as well.
