Newcastle

We didn't really do much in Newcastle. We stayed at the Tulip Inn in Gateshead and just drove into the city. The accommodation was ok. There was 3 beds so we were pretty comfortable. We went to Metrocentre first which happens to be the biggest shopping centre in the UK. Didn't buy much there. I guess we were all still a bit shook up about the accident before that. Also, had a call from my ex-colleague Ee Leen and found out that she spent too much time eating until she missed her flight. Hahahaha!! That was quite funny. As you can see, we had really good weather there and we entertained ourselves with shopping and just walking around.
This is Jenny's artistic shot. Guess which shadow is mine?

Edmund (Mei San's friend) took us to the Millenium bridge. This is quite a modern bridge. There was the Tyne (I think it was called that) bridge just behind and that was green in colour.
We crossed the bridge and went to a Modern Art Gallery. Hmm... I think I can't appreciate modern art. There was this piece where it was just plaster and loads of staples on it. What would they think of next?
